OVERVIEW

“Graham’s mastery of the rehearsal process and ability to inspire made the experience invaluable” Rose, Australia

Overview

Graham Ross leads Singers Abroad’s 2026 Come and Sing Day after the success of last year’s event.  Join us at St Saviour’s Church, Pimlico in London to work on Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem, the much-loved British anthem Greater love by John Ireland, and the short but beautiful Stabat Mater by Spanish Renaissance composer Juan Gutiérrez de Padilla.  The day leads to an informal performance at the end of the afternoon followed by a glass of wine.

Who can participate?

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

The Come and Sing Day is open to singers of all ages and all voice parts. No prior knowledge or experience of either piece is necessary to participate, though a good level of choral singing experience and sight-reading skills is obviously advantageous!

The day begins with coffee and ends with an informal performance followed by a glass of wine, with plenty of opportunity to meet other participants in the breaks. There is no dress code – everything is informal and relaxed! Participants should bring their own copies of the repertoire, or, at a small extra cost, scores can be provided.
